In order to be booked for a job, you must make a profile with us at ModernPromos.net. Once you have a profile, you will be able to see and apply to jobs in your area and will receive email notification when there is a new job in your area
To apply to a job, log into your profile at ModernStaffers.net and click on calender. From there, you are able to click on the job you are interested in working and prress “Apply.” Remember to apply for all days you are able to work
The first step of getting a job is to make a profile and apply online. A booking coordinator will call you for a short interview to lock you into the job. To better your chances of being selected, be sure to have at least two professional pictures of yourself as well as a detailed resume in your profile.
After you are hired for a job, log into your profile at www.ModernStaffers.net. Go to the job you were selected for and click “confirm”.
Like any job, submitting an application does not automatically mean you are hired. If your qualifications align with the requirements of the job, one our our booking coordinators will reach out for an interview.
Hours vary from job to job. Your booking coordinator will specify shift times upon hiring.
Breaks vary from job to job. Please reach out to your booking coordinator for questions regarding breaks/lunch breaks.
Uniform varies from job to job, and will be discussed upon hiring.
You can request a replacement directly through the portal. To do this, click on the shift you are hired for and click “Request Replacement”. If you are requesting a replacement within 48 hours of a job you will need to call the on call manager line, 952-200-9932
You must be 18 years of age or older and be eligible for employment in the United States in order to work with Modern Staffers.
If you are an independent contractor, you are self-employed. Independent contractors do not have taxes taken out per paycheck, and may be subject to paying taxes at the end of the year. To learn more about what it means to be an independent contractor, please visit your state IRS website.
We receive a high volume of applicants for all of our jobs and, unfortunately, we are not able to hire every candidate who applies. However, there are ways for a candidate to stand out amongst the others. This includes, but is not limited to: Having a complete profile, up-to-date photos, resume & detailed experience.
To be able to view upcoming jobs in cities you are interested in working, you must first select the appropriate REGIONS in your profile. Make sure you select BOTH the city and state you are interested in.
Please log into your profile in the portal. Click on the files tab and you can locate our 1099 payroll schedule.

You can register an account at Paychex, our payroll provider, to view your paystubs.

Receipts for pre-approved reimbursements can be sent to your booking coordinator within 48 hours of the end of your shift. Any receipts received after 48 hours will not be accepted.
We pay via papercheck and checks are mailed via USPS.
At this time we do not offer direct deposit.

Please complete your new hire paperwork at modernpromos.us. Click ” apply now” to begin your paperwork.
Year end tax information is mailed via USPS by Janauary 31st , you can also view this information in your Paychex account
Update your address on your profile in the staffing portal, then email email@example.com to notify them of the change, they
will update your profile in Paychex, the payroll software. Failure to inform the finance department of this change will result in your check
being sent to an outdated address. Please inform the Postal Service of any address changes as well.
We cannot give an expected delivery date as we do not know the exact speed of the US Postal Service after we drop the checks off in
the mail. According to the US Postal Service it can take 7-14 business days to arrive at its final destination.
We do not track contractors checks with the USPS due to the volume of checks that are issued during each payroll. If you log into your
Paychex profile, you are able to view that check stub.
The Finance Team does not take in bound calls due to the thousands of contractors that work for us and reach out to us on a daily basis.
